Hello all,

Are there any popular Walks Alone / BIM Sons that can provide the power and appeal without the attitude? I've used and had great success with I-Believe. I'm trying to come up with a couple more black bulls to use this year.

*Angus or Balancer commercial cattle for dams. Trying to create a showy, county fair winning calf that is still capable of growing.
*We care more about actual stoutness and power than hair as we don't really have the time to invest in the great hair.

The Here I Am’s are getting it done. Put on a cow with some guts and they’re really good. The have decent dispositions too. This would be the year to use him as he has already had some trouble freezing. My guess is that next year his semen will double. They are a little funky looking just after weaning, but they really put it on after that.

My daughter is showing a Second To None calf this year and he is way cool. Great structure, bone, hair and power. He's a little high strung but nothing serious. Second To None is sired by I Believe.

I don't think he has a hard time freezing. His libido is on the very, very slow side. I've seen people jump over 20 bulls while still waiting for HIA to jump once. Hard to freeze it if you can't get to it  ;D ;)

I quit using HIA because of their dang attitudes. I’ve sent more to the stockyards than I’ve been able to sell for show animals. I’m using Second 2 None more this year, so far so good.

Thanks Woody!  Good to know!

I have gone more to Monopoly Clones and In God We Trust this year.
Watching Fair and Square.

We shall see what Icon does by next year.  Heard a week ago that he is not yet freezing.
