He may be.  They put the bulls in catalogs even when they aren't freezing.  I did have a buddy of mine tell me that he was freezing.  This is all word of mouth so I wouldn't take it for fact.

He is on the last page of the 2009 Top Sires and they have him as free of both TH and PHA.

He is a THC for sure. I called Top Sires. It is  a type-O. Jigsaw's status is also a type-o. Midwest Genetics will have the first available juice on Walk Alone.

Is that the same type as Outcast's?  I know that they HATE the Outcast bull there in Dr. B's lab....just ask Barrel Racer.

Was it just me who noticed how many "typo's" there have been in a few of the semen catalogs regarding TH/PH status?  Makes me wonder how many people who didn't know better got carrier calves and then were told tough luck when they wanted their money back on the semen?

My bad Brent....there are two different TH mutataions.  One that is normal and deletes so many base pairs, and then there's the one that the Shorthorn bull Outcast has.  It's still a deletion, but it's WAY different than the normal TH gene.  I thought maybe you meant that those bulls had been identified as having the "Outcast" version.

He looks as good as any club calf bull alive but he sure isn't very tall. I plan on using him on some big cows to downsize.

I about had a stroke when I saw him at stud walking around. He sure didnt "walk alone" when I saw him. Several name cowboys were following him around drooling. If that critter starts freezing Wade will have his money back as soon as they can ship it.

Did you mean he doesn't "walk alone" as in people were following him or that he has trouble walking or isn't sound? Just wanting to clarify that point.

He had alot of friends in the lot. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about him, except carrier status. Looked amazingly sound considering his butt is about 4 ax handles wide.

Wade raised him.  He made a ton on $$$ when he sold interests to his partners.  Call him and ask about semen he will be upfront and honest with you.
