How soon do you want to wean calves before a sale? Thanks for your answers!

We wean are calves when there 7 months old and get them on corn and etc.

We wean calves at 4 months.  I would say you would want them weaned at least 1 month before a sale to get the bloom back on them, most of them will drop condition when weaned even if they are eating good prior to just because of the stress level.
