I sold a 500 lb black steer calf Monday and he brought $1.00 per lb. I had a pair of black heifers the same size sell for $0.905 per lb.

Aot of people around here have gone to the satelite auction deal. You have to have a load though(semi).I think there its more like 1$ to 1.15 for this deal.

It's been 1 - 1.15 with a few up to 1.20..  It will be interesting to see if they hold this week with the market bouncing all over the place.
