I've read two suspense novels in the last few weeks while traveling. I don't know why, but both have to do with murders in Minnesota and include the use of fire by the killers. I'm sure a psychiatrist could have a field day figuring out why I picked these two to read. Anyway, they're both good and I'm familiar with many of the towns and places mentioned in them so they seem a little more realistic. The first is Dark of the Moon by John Sandford--one of my favorite authors. The second is Ashes to Ashes by Tami Hoag. Both are good reads if you like murder mysteries or suspense stories.
