WHat do you do with a June and July calf

We have two cows that passed over and cleaned up really late. Where is there a market for June and July born calves. One was born today a bull and we are waiting on the other at the end of the month. We don't have that market here for steer calves. Any direction would be appreciated!

Any Texan with half a brain knows the "August/September" calves that get shipped in from up north are actually Mays, Junes, and Julys but there's still a market for them.

A neighbor and I used to take Shorthorn & Angus steers to North Central TX.  Ours were mostly fall, but a few of his were about the age of yours, as I recall.  Do some of those go to Houston?  At that time, if you were showing your 4-H or FFA lamb, pig, or calf, you were NOT counted absent in school in TX--even if it was for 6 weeks.
