Here is a fall born shorthorn steer that I raised. What do you guys think?

He definitely has a butt on him that can be seen from a mile away.

Everytime I tried to sneak up on him to get a rear shot he would turn and look at me or take off with the other calves.

What are his bloodlines?  We have one that could almost be a twin to him, sired by Sin City & out of a red angus/maine (high roller from the 90s) cow!  Will try to post a pic.

Nice calf. I am sure there has to be someone out there looking for a fallborn that would fall in love with this guy.

He is out of a Vegas son bull and windstar granddaughter cow.

He hasnt been on any creep feed yet. That could be the reason why he is not filled out in the flank.

To me he looks kind of compact lenght wise.

it is always tough to tell in pictures, sometimes a perceived flaw can be just a bad angle and vice versa.

I agree with others, he looks pretty stout in the rear.
