Really nice calf.  I think if you are going to nit-pick, he has a little more in the brisket as has been said before, and in my opinion he is a little shorter hipped.  Like I said, just my opinion, my eye could be off.  And that is being very critical of a really nice calf.

Thank you everyone for the comments! We're new to the cattle business and everyone on SP has been great in helping us! This calf was definitely a once in a lifetime calf and experience for us. Thank you steerplanet for being there!!!  :)

Congratulations! We have a pb shorthorn steer that my daughter is showing at county fair in about 6 weeks. Looks a lot like yours except shorter and maybe a little smoother fronted. Hopefully he will do well. We have a ranch raised class that I think she'll be hard to get around. What did you get at auction for him?

Thank you for the comments! Box6ranch good luck with you calf and keep us informed :) As for his sale price I think he brought $3,500, but I could be wrong. The sales this year were really down.
