What do you think of her?

I haven't posted any pics in a while & I was curious what people thought of this fullblood Lowline heifer calf that I own.  I sometimes get barn blind when looking at my own cattle, so just curious to hear thoughts & opinions about her strengths & flaws.  I'm thinking about getting her in the barn & under fans soon so that she can grow some hair for 2 or 3 fall shows.

Forgetting my prejudices,she looks good to me.I could pick on her a little from the picture,but that's not fair. Nothing major wrong that i can see,just wish she was six inches taller with a tad more thickness. Nice Heifer.

Thanks for the comments!  The pictures aren't the best as I snapped them in a hurry, but you can see her pretty well from a few different angles.  I think that she's pretty good, I just can't make up my mind how good & that's why I was looking for opinions.  Any recommendations?  It will be interesting to see how she does this fall & how she looks with hair.   

BTW, for anybody who is curious, she is a Zeffirelli daughter out of Ardrossan Nardia (Jamberoo's dam & sister to the extremely popular Australian Cow, Ardrossan Dana).

Nice heifer, TJ.  I can't imagine having to use fans to grow hair.  My Lowlines have always been hairy beyond belief by Fall.  Bet she'll blossom with hair in time for the shows!  Where do you think you'll take her?

Dori- Yeah, the Lowlines grow hair easily, but if you put them under fans and rinse them, you can really get that edge that you need to bring home a banner from the big shows.  I think this little gal has a good shot at NAILE and wherever else we take her.

TJ, she is a beutiful little heifer! She remineds me a lot of the cattle sired by the angus bull DCC New Look! I love those heifers!

Thanks, Dori!  I'm taking her to the Lowline Show in Washington, IN (Oct 24) & to the NAILE for sure.  I MIGHT take her to Kansas City too, but not sure. 

RE the hair... you are probably right, but she's behind some of my other calves right now.  And a little extra hair this fall will only help her.

Justin, I hope that you are right about her having a good shot at the NAILE.  I'm encouraged after hearing your thoughts!  Can't wait to hear what you think about my others.  Thanks!

I'll admit, she's not overly tall.   

RE the thickness... all she's currently being fed is some not so great fescue hay, the green grass that you see & a few lbs. of soy hulls.  I think that the thickness will improve after she gets on a better feed program with adequate protein.

RE the truck... my wife bought it a year ago.  I'm actually amazed that she let's me drive it as much as she does.      (lol)
