What to breed her to?

Hi, this is my first time on Steerplanet I know there is many great people on here, and that have very good advice!
So I was wondering on a purebred shorthorn heifer, out of 4D Double Vision and a Sonny Cow what would be a good TH and PHA free option that would throw a good show prospect calf out of her, but still be an easy calver on her for her first calf. She is a show heifer, that is doing very well (not to brag) but she needs to be smoother in her shoulders, and more rib, I dont know if there is any bulls that will help her in these areas or not? 
I have considered Oakveiw Trump Card supposed to be a good cross on Double Stuffs ,Jakes Proud Jazz but dont want an any smaller framed calf, and according to Top Sires JM Vortec should be okay on heifers because he is a three star and I have seen many good calves out of Double Stuff and Vortec.
I will attach a pic. of here tommorow hopefully, but wanted to hear any suggestions now.

We're going to breed our Double Vision x Trump heifer to TM Gus (Denver Grand Champion).  We've also used PB Kryptonite (Trump son) with a lot of success on heifers.

(welcome) I wouldn't recommend using Vortec on a heifer. TM Gus or ALM Chiller . 1st calf you may have to give up a little frame for that smaller calf at birth.

I have to say, Gizmo is one of the safest bets for calving ease on a shorthorn. He produces exceptional cattle too boot. I don't think you can go wrong with him. You female will carry some weigh tin her genetics remember that when mating sires to her.

After the past couple of years of rough calving, if we loose a little off the frame but end up with a live calf we are excited. Our Gizmo females are just coming into production. They look to be broody sound versatile cows.That is just my opinion. I guess you can always shoot for frame the second go around.

TM Gus would be a good choice.  Talk to Stumpy on here about him.  Also in my opinion any live calf on the ground from a heifer is a good calf so with that said almost all of my heifers are going to be bred to Angus bulls this year.  Except one that is going to get bred either JPJ or TM Gus.

You could also consider Money Man for a Maintainer or Shorthorn Plus calf.  Extreme calving ease with excellent growth numbers and his offspring have been doing very well in the show ring this year.  I'm also a big fan of Tm Gus as everyone on SP knows!!  We've also started having our Jakes Proud Jazz calves now and they seem pretty good to me.

Ok, don't blast me here, but has Gus been confirmed calving ease?  Not saying he's not, just don't remember any discussion on it.

TM GUS!! Jakes Proud Jazz, Gizmo,Ace of Diamonds,Major's Money Man, Ali, Dirty Harry,Northern Improvement,TripleC Invasion. That covers 4 different breeds of trustworthy calving ease.Always remember the cow and her breeding contributes to calf size, along with feed intake management. You might get a Blue or black,especially out of the blak bulls,but a Angus/Shorthorn cross makes some terrific females.And most [not all] Shorties worth their salt have at least a minute amount of Maine running through their veins,which isn't all bad.

After Gus had his first calf crop we bred all but one of our yearling heifers to him. As well he is looking like our goto bull for having an easy/high quality calves out of our donors. I like to take it easy on those cows due to the fact that their repro tract is our goldmine! I will not promise that you will never have a bigger Gus calf, but he is bred for calving ease and has thus far has delivered.

Have you tried him to a variety of types, the problem we are having is the clubby type heifers even out of calving ease bulls I'm getting huge calves, have you put him on anything like that?

Jill- I'm pretty certain that Gus was used on some Double Vision genetics without any problem. I know that there are a LOT of other clubby bulls out there, but DV is one that can throw some BW too.  Hopefully he works on DV heifers, because we're breeding our's to him this year.
