Just getting into full swing here. We had a field of Tam 111 that showed some yellow berries in the sample that almost looked like soft wheat instead of hard red winter. One guy told me that soft wheat was in 111 pedigree. It looked like the soft winter wheat berries almost seem to come out of the 3rd mesh in the head almost like they weren't developed. This particulr sample went 8.8 protein. I don't we are going to have good protein in this area either but it is still early though.

We are finished here and  it was certainly nothing to brag about.    Low test, low yield, low price about sums it up.
