Maines in PA

It'll soon be semen ordering time and this crowd knows Shorthorns pretty well.
Scenario: I have a handful of too-big high percentage Maine cows that I'd like to mate for potential replacement females. I've been using smaller framed, easy calving Angus bulls on these but my customers are clamoring for color. Thinking of putting a Shorthorn on them to inject some color back into the herd. Bull needs to be smaller-framed, from a decent cow family, PHA and TH-free. Don't really care about DS. Not swinging for the show ring fence, but calves need to be marketable to kids and trouble-free as females. I used JPJ back in the day and have considered him again. Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
When I think of all the years it took to remove the white socks from Maines.......
