Ganggreen maybe you should just move on. I sold my first ever club calf off of this site. It didnt cost me one cent. Sure beats getting health papers, paying a consignment fee and trucking to sale. So the way I figure it selling my calf on this site saved me atleast $100. I'm just getting started in breeding cattle so I dont have people beating on my door to look at my calves. I guess I suck at selling cattle but hey I got it sold thats all that matters. I sure hope you dont ever intend on trying to sell anything on here because you pretty much shot yourself in the foot.

You do not put the price if you believe you can sell them animal if someone contacts you.  Price is always negotiable as well.  Barter etc.  Putting the price out there, then no one will contact you unless they agree to that exact price.  It is a sales technique.  If you think you can sell, do not put the price just ask folks to contact you.  eventually the people making the contacts to you will set the price if the animal is really for sale.

It is completely up to the seller if he wants to list the price or not, if you do not agree move on to the next ad.  There is a variety of reasons people do not put the sale price.


Ganggreen if you are going to want to stick around on steer planet, I would suggest you starting biting your tongue before personally attacking other members.

Some of the best breeders in the country have advertised cattle for sale on here. I think thats a testament to Jason and SteerPlanet. This is by far the most impressive internet cattle forum on the web. Keep up the great work Jason .
