In the past Kirk Steirwalt has put on a demonstration at the MN Beef Expo and that is in the twin cities. Don't know if his doing it again this year. Otherwise, just go to the show and watch people fit, you might not be able to ask questions but you will be able to watch people do it and hopefully replicate it.
Have you shown at any of the open shows. For instance at UW River Falls they have an open show in May and this year Bobby May did a fitting clinic on Friday. It was informative. The more you can observe then practice the better you will become. There are many open shows all through Wisconsin and exhibiting at any of them will help you become a better shower. There is Badger Kick Off in December, UW Plattelville and UW River Falls usually the end of April and beginning of May. Also Seymour in June and then the Summer Spectacular in August -- that is in Wausau.
