Would you sell a steer with a white eye (pink eye)?

We had a show steer that had pink eye and ended up with a white spot on the showman's side eye. He's a pretty good steer but I wondered if a judge would knock him down because of it? He's not a state fair winner but a decent county fair steer. Thanks!

I believe Lautners sold a blind steer a couple years ago. As long as it doesn't cause the steer to spook easy then it shouldn't be a problem.

I agree. I can’t imagine a judge commenting on it and I think if they did it would only be because they ran out of things to say.

Thanks for the replies! We were thinking the same but weren't completely sure. Thankfully he isn't our best steer but we will see if he will sell!
