Any calf reports on Yardley Utah?  Considering using him to make replacement heifers ultimately to be used as club calf mommas

I like the bull and have plans to use him, just haven't yet. I've only seen a few calf pictures and one in person but they look good. I've talked to Griswold about his sire Hard As Steel and he says he will make "cows" as consistently as any bull out there. I really like Hard As Steel as well.

I think both Utah and his sure would do what you want.

I have had a handful of Utah calves and I wouldn't be afraid of using him. They are stout structured calves with some muscle and pretty fronted. They do have some grow to them and are later maturing cattle. At least mine are. I kept a couple of them and will breed them shortly and they look better with more time and maturity.
Another bull I would strongly consider is Yardley High Regard.! I calved out my first daughters of him and I love them. They are really big boned good structured, feminine and milk well.
Relentless is a Utah son that's a purebred out of a great cow so I have replaced Utah with him and his calves look promising.

I have heard that Utah has some "temper" issues.

Thanks-not a great picture, but she's growing out well. She is a big heifer and very square hipped and long fronted getting better as she matures.
