Really good all around bull. He's deep bodied, big hipped, and hairy. (Slicked in June) He's extremely sound on the move and wide based. Shown 3x: Champ at Dixie National and MS Field Day, Class Winner at Simmy Sweepstakes. I would love to keep him, but I have no use for him once he has finished showing. Breed him to purebreds for great higher % cattle, or let him make some clubby mamas. The cow families on both top and bottom of his pedigree are solid withing their respective breeds and he should follow suit and make some otstanding progeny. THF/PHAF, Polled with slick spots. Price, location, and what will his calving ease be.Can he be used on heifers, do you have numbers on his sire and dam?

I think he SHOULD be fine on heifers. Realizing he is unproven, but he slid on out of a fat ex show heifer. Actual BW 88, Simmy assoc adjusted it to 78. BW EPD (Simm) -.1.
Sire is a known CE bull. Simmy epds CE: 13.7; BW: -2.
Dam had 71 lb BW, epds (Horn) CE -1.1, BW 2.5. Not familiar with shorthorns, but I think her sire carries a bit heavier wts????  Maternal Granddam BW: 75; Dam's maternal sib: 78.
