    1912 Ayrshire cow

The very first steer I sold when selling show calves back in the mid 70's was a Cunia out of an Ayrshire cow. He won the regional show and was a very complete calf with near perfect structure. He also fed extremely well. Thought that mating had the potential of make oustanding cows. Here's pic...

    Denver Bull Clean Machine

My main concern, and not to bad month him, would be that he might get too steep up through the shoulder. With Impulse in the recipe and the other two sires, I might be a little cautious on want kind of cows to match him up with.

    Our bull at Denver

Super well put together dude there. Rare to find one that good footed and deliver high quality semen at such a young age. Anyone could use a bull like that.

    Pretty happy with this girl

I'll have to agree...Excellent choice. Nice genetic piece, and really like the Simmental pictures from the current Denver show. The breed is making a positive move in the right direction, IMO.

    Which bull would you use?

This is one of them ( the reserve). Not only good footed but just good all over. http://pulse.sullivansupply.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/SimmBull_RES.jpg The Grand Bull: Super good too. http://pulse.sullivansupply.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/SimmBull_CH.jpg

    Which bull would you use?

I really liked the two Purebred Simmental bull champions at the recent NWSS. I personally would take a chance on either one of them (on just about any type of cow). They had the best and deepest foot design of all the other breed champions plus a super look.

    Display Bulls=Results From Denver 2015

From a pedigree and pic standpoint, Second 2 None might end up being one potent guy. I also like Bohnam's and Lautner's bull on those really tight made chunky type cows.

    FULLBLOOD MAINE UPDATE

Really like the profile of the red bull calf. Slash also looks like a breeding bull for sure. Doc- Sun you know I want to see your Darco sired bull! Remembered his video right before you sold him. He sure was very mobile and well made. Do you have his video or any semen?

    Super looking bull...

ZKCC, bred him. He's a Yellow Jacket out of a really good HW x Charolais cow. He sold for 51,000 and I believe for half. Do not know who bought him. Griswold is part owner of his full brother. He's pretty impressive to say the least. I think they are going to call him "Snort".

    Super looking bull...

IMO, for those who did not see him, this guy is pretty rare and special and was compelled to post his video. He covers the ground the way a good bull is suppose to (effortlessly). Plus, he is super balanced and smooth from head to toe . Sold last night and think we will be hearing a lot more...

What would you flush this FRICTION X PB CHAROLAIS cow to ...

I'm kinda with frostback on this. if you have used Monopoly and MAB then try to get something more maternal. Checking into some of Horn's program... I think was a good recommendation. 'Lovin the Business' is one of the very best bulls when it comes to feet and legs and IMO, primary for the...

    A Thanksgiving Visitor

I believe that turkey has just the right amount of chrome to catch the judges eye. Looks to have adequate muscling. Just in time for Thanksgiving.

NAILE Steer show 2014 video online?

I don't know if they recorded them to play back at a later date or for personal reasons. Did see the show while it was live streaming. It was a nice show but was surprised at the depth. Top steers were super but fell off rather quickly in some classes. I did think the grand was exceptional along...

    Comfort Zone vs Daddy's Money

From a pedigree standpoint they're similar, with Comfort Zone having more Smithbuilt influence on the bottom side. I've only seen pictures and only a handful of calves by Daddy's Money but they are impressive. Also Daddy's Money has a full brother that is equally as impressive. I feel both...

    Thrillers as Cows

Looks good. Thriller, IMO, is one of the very best Heat Wave sons going or for that matter just a super beef bull. He should prove to sire great producing cattle with especially valuable females. Your cow helps back up that statement.

    Flushing this cow.

I agree with Ms Griswold as well. Whizard will compliment her genetic makeup, especially producing females. Infusing more Maine genetics is tricky, IMO... One must be careful with too much of a good thing and often doing ability and fertility will diminish the more you inbreed other Maines' into...

BC II Skyfall 2812 Angus Bull

I'm also curious. Really think he has a super pedigree and functional look about him. Express should be calving out some this fall.

Anyone Seen Kris Black's Bulls for the COC Sale

Some really nice bulls. Looks like too many good ones this year. Lot 16 intrigues me being almost fullblood Charolais. There are some major cow making bulls too.
