    CRAZY TEXAS!

Wow.....All I got to say.  (lol) Ok, my dad always made fun of my brother for being a Texas fan, and he would always tell him this joke. (I am not saying anything against anyone from Texas, I just thought the joke is funny) Only two things come from Texas, steers, and queers, and you ain't got...

    I need help!

I think it kind of depends if she understands the concept of death or not. If she doesn't, I would tell her she ran away or something like thta  :-\. If she does understand, I think it would be best to tell her straight up.

    Just curious???

Our calves are born in February-March. The only show we go to is our country fair, which is in Mid-July. The calves either get sold through the auction, go on the truck, or we take them home. We usually have 2-3 calves each on feed for my brother and I, but this year we had 8 total. We took 2...

    Tyson Prospect

Little narrow from behind, and has a tighter flank than I'd like, but looks a lot like my steer from this year, and he did very well.

More calf pictures!-UPDATE - video link added

I really like that #2 heifer! That bull calf looks like a really nice one. We havn't kept bulls for a long time. We just sort off the ones we use for 4-H steers, and keep off replacement heifers. Great calf crop!

Now guys, I'm a Chevy guy, but I would have to admit, that my Ultimate Power Train would have to be a Cummins with the Allison, even though I love our 2 duramaxs.  (lol)

Stupid Question: How do private treaty sales work?

Well, I have never been to one, but the way I understand them is that they are like a silent auction. Correct me if I'm wrong someone.

    Showsticks

I usually go with one that is about the height of your shoulder. So just measure how tall your shoulder is and go around there. I dont use the Comb on the end. I think its just as good to scratch with the point.

    How PETA targets kids

These people think that cattle are treated badly. Some of us have barns, or sheds for our cattle that are bigger than our own houses! They get fed every day, and watered. They have everything they need, and live a life of luxury! Heck, I know some people who treat their cattle better than their...

    Guessing Weight

Steermaker, these may have worked for you, but we tried one of them one year on calves. They had new born calves weighing upwards of 200 pounds. They were NEVER accurate at all for us.
