go to the IJBBA website under showcattlepage.com and they should list the new IJBBA shows for the 2009 season, (most of them are not open to out of state cattle) but usually there are like 30-35 a year for points- otherwise not too many open ones are available.

Brittney Im with you I still prefer the hair- thats one reason we live here in Iowa- dont like slicks- but he still looks good, not all herfs look that good slick good job

My love is Herfs but to be pratical you should start with Angus as they seem to be the best building block for any breed you wanna cross them with

Ok, Ill bite we used him on this small framed cow - below are the results- dont have any new pictures, heifer is a fall born heifer mother is out of oakview trump card and a purebred hereford cow

my husband loves racing (sprint cars) so we go to that Ice Cream Beer (Im German) Love Lobster but can afford it My sister and her family (we go to a ton of her kids ballgames)  I went through sports withdrawl when my youngest graduated- missed it so much A good book and a good movie

Gosh glad your power is back on I remember how horrible it was for us when we were without power for a week- we watered cattle from the water dripping from the eavespouts off the barn- it sucked- definately makes you realize how dependant we are on electricity- I would never have made a good...

thanks, I use google ad words for my recipe and blog personal site- I think they do work - never thought of that- but I was just thinking too that the classifieds here are good advertising and I can always get one of these little ads that appear here to the left too.

I agree Steer Planet has been very helpful  to us in selling some of our calves- we are just beginning and have alot to learn and do appreciate the honest comments posted here and all the encouragement we have received
