    Awesome, been waiting to see how this breeding would turn out. Looks like you might have to show a shorthorn plus if you don't decide to sell her.  The (Trump) X ( Maine x Chi x Angus) seems to have worked on a shorthorn heifer. Good luck with her and your Cumberland Duchess cow this fall.

    Bought 10 straws of jpj @$30 a few weeks ago. Also bought 10 Mav BellRinger and have a JPJ son so were set over here for calving ease. Bought 10 each on avg birth weight bulls in Mav Charisma and Ace of Diamonds from cattle Visions also, the only guys ill do business with.

    $150 per week plus feed and Vet bills just to stay in the barn. If they go to shows all entry fees paid, plus $100 per day while at shows.

    Wait up, you don't have a blower? Thats crazy, pretty much a must have to compete with haired cattle. I've seen a kid rig up a leaf lower to with some old blower hose and it worked pretty well for him. Ive also seen a kid using a dog grooming blower which i thought was kinda neat just not enough...
