Our one calf that we have had so far was 8 days late that was out of a cow that always has them a week to 10 days early. They have all been bulls to so that's not a factor.

We have just been using the additive like we do in the truck or semi and keeping the tractor plugged in and haven't had any trouble yet this winter. On days we don't need to move hay or drive the truck we still go out and start them and let them warm up.

I will first say I was not in Denver so I did not see any of the bulls in person but by the pictures either in the stalls or walking around most of the bulls look extremely little. Are these bulls actually big enough to cover cows in a couple of months like other yearlings?

I second the feed box. We use to do it that way. My brother at the time was pry 8-10 and it was his job to mix the feed back then.
