I use a product called Freshen up.  You can get it at sullivans and it is primarily used for sheep.  It is lighter than Revive.  I only use it in the winter.

Had a bunch of division champs and reserves.  Even had a Reserve Grand at our state preview show.  Can't seem to get that top spot except at county fairs.  I guess you've got to have something to keep getting your butt out of bed to rinse the heifers in the morning!

That's pretty impressive!  What I'm the most impressed about is that you took her out that much and still kept her really competitive.  This heifer must not have gone through many weird growth stages.

I've also heard that the vaccine for foot rot is a pretty good preventative.  I'm definitely going to give it to my donors on the next go around.

I've also seen where you breed one with a bad disposition to another with a bad disposition and it cancels out!  I by no means recommend this to anyone but two negatives can sometimes equal a positive.

My best donor is a Midland.  I wouldn't trade her for anything!  If you use him just make sure your cows have a good foot.  That's really the only thing that I can knock him on.
