    Monopoly females

There should be some Monopoly females from his first calf crop with calves along side of them by now.  Anyone have any comments on how they are milking and what calving ease bulls worked best on them the first go around?

    copyright

Have had 2 Copyright steers out of first calf heifers, both unassisted.  I think people talk bad about him because he is considered 'club calf' but does not throw Heat Wave style calves.  They are quality cattle and should make good replacements.  The steers we have raised from him have been...

    Ree Heights

Have heard very little about this bull.  I had planned to use him but am starting to think differently.  Any calving reports or pictures of his calves? Also, how are the birth weights so far.  With the Who Made Who influence does anyone think he could be used for second calvers?

    YELLOW JACKET BITH WEIGHTS

Would you say he was safe for second calf cows? I have a Northern Improvement heifer that just had her first calf and would love to breed her back to Yellow Jacket.

    Headliner

I have used Hired Man two years now and have been very pleased with the results.  I have used Hired Man on a Heat Seeker cow, a Hotmail cow, and a Maine/Angus cross cow.  He throws lots of color and chrome. The Rainmaker calves are our hairiest.  I have a bull and heifer calf out of a Heat...

    Rainmaker

Had two that I am really happy with.  A heifer out of a Heat Seeker cow that is really hairy and nice structure.  Also have a steer out of the All About You cow in my avatar that is the same way.  Not sure how they will grow, but they are only one month old.  Both turned out to be solid black...

That is what everyone envisions their calves looking like when they start choosing bulls for the next season.

    Headliner

I dont believe he is TH free.  We have had 2 steers this year and they do not have a lot of hair like our Monopoly's did last year. They are good calves but not positive I will be re-using him.  I am much happier with some calves out of other bulls.

If the picture of Simple Math doesnt work - do you have a link by chance.  I am really interested to see what he looks like.

    King Meyer

Had a King Meyer steer last year out of a Swoosh cow and really liked him.  Didnt have a ton of hair but had a good show steer look.  Wish he wouldve been a heifer.

    purple eclipse

This is a Purple Eclipse X All About You steer.  We used him two years on crossbred cows.  Really liked the calves.  They were a little bit leggy but other than that they were very hairy, thick, solid calves.

Bleeding Purple Vs. Monopoly / Who is better?

I would likely use Monopoly again before I would use Bleedin Purple, but I sure would have liked to have a chance to breed some different cows to Bleedin Purple to see how they wouldve clicked. We had our first Headliner calf last nite...anxious to see how he stacks up with the Monopoly calves...

Bleeding Purple Vs. Monopoly / Who is better?

We have a Simmi-Maine cow that had a Bleedin Purple heifer in 2006 and in 2009 had a Monopoly heifer.  It is scary how similar they are.  Even had white markings in some similar areas on their legs and belly.  The Monopoly heifer was definitely more hairy but both had their positive traits.  I...

    SS Ebonys Grand Master

Really appreciate the info.  I really like the look of him and his pedigree.  I have a Carnac heifer bred to him that is due in April.  I will post pics when the calf arrives.  Should be an interesting cross.
