A great county fair for us!

Well, our county fair was Saturday and I have to say we were blessed with a wonderful day! Lots of rain right before almost got the fair canceled, but we prevailed through mud (even though our truck got stuck and had to be pulled out! (thumbsup) )
We took 9 head of cattle and two market pigs. My oldest, Rebekah, had the best day with the Champion Simmental Female, her bred and owned heifer out of Grandmaster. I will include a picture below, but did not get a profile since I was so busy making sure everyone was where they needed to be! She also exhibited a percentage bull that is a 3/4 Make it Rain, and he won Champion Percentage. She also showed her market hog (hamp), and won Reserve Champion Market hog along with champion senior showmanship with the pigs.
My middle daughter went on to win Reserve Champion Percentage Simmental heifer with an Upgrade 3/4 blood heifer. She is the bottom two pictures.
I will upload a few more photos, but we just had a really good day. I am so proud to be a part of the Simmental breed, so many great people that like to help each other out no matter who wins.

The first picture here is Rachel with her carcass steer. He is sired by Built Right, and s a 3/4 blood. He is currently running 1200 pounds, and the steers get processed next month so I can not wait to see how he hangs on the rail.
The second pic is my two kids in showmanship together. Seth is in front and Rachel is behind him. We learned to never let them go in following each other, since big sister wants to tell her brother how to do everything WHILE SHOWING!!! ??? :

The next one I had to show, it is Rebekah showing her hamp (1st in class) and Seth behind her showing his hog (white), who went on to win second in class. They were processed this morning! The hamp was 278 and the york was 269 (clapping)
And the last pic is my son with his Fat Butt heifer. She is a bred and owned, my oldest daughter sold the heifer to her brother so she stays in the family.
Anyway, a great weekend for us!!! Now on to Regional show in two weeks!!! We are so excited!

Again, glad to see that Grandmaster Heifer doing well. All of our heifers AI'ed to Grandmaster had heifers. They are absolutely wonderful. Same cows are being bred back to Upgrade. Sounds like I'm one step behind you! Tell the kids good job! They look great.
