Double 1/2 blood Lowline heifer which should increase her consistency.  Her sire is a full brother to the 2008 National Champion Bull & her dam is from Rocking J Ranch (Jerry Adamson - Nebraska) genetics.  She is an extremely docile heifer that we purchased as a pair at the side of her dam.   She is a rare blue roan % Lowline with a good amount of hair.  Her full sister placed 2nd in class to the 2009 Supreme Champion Lowline at the NAILE!  She's only been on some soy hulls, C.G.F. & hay.  She has not been washed or clipped or fitted in anyway.  No photo shop either.  What you see is exactly what you get.  She should make a great cow & produce some nice show calf babies.

This heifer did suffer an injury (we were told an older bull calf rode her & broke her down), as a baby, before she was delivered to our place, & she developed a limp. She still has a slight hitch, but it's barely noticable now, if at all, & we don't expect any problems. But, honesty is the best policy & due to the previous injury, we are offering her at a discount.

Located in northwest Kentucky, but we have cattle going several different directions this spring, so shared transport is possible, but not promised.  If interested PM, email [email protected] or call (270) 997-0041

the truth said:
so her sire is F1 Short/ Ang, as well as the dam?  What are the more specific genetics?

Where have you been TJ...

The sire is 1/2 Lowline (BR Absolut) X 3/8 Shorthorn X 1/8 Maine.  See his picture below.  Not 100% sure what the knot on his jaw is from, but I think that they told me it was some sort of injury or something like that.  Anyway, I think he's a pretty decent bull.  Not sure about the Shorthorn or Maine pedigrees... all I know is that she (the bulls dam) sold at some show/sale in Wyoming & she was really fancy and was moderate framed.

I don't think that her dam has any Shorthorn.  She is 1/2 Lowline (BCR Low Bow) X Jerry Adamson cow (either Chiangus or Chi-maine X Angus or something like that).  The dam is a really nice cow & probably weighs 1,250 lbs. or so.

This heifer is registered as a 1/2 Lowline... she is also 3/16 Shorthorn & at least 1/16 Maine.  The other 1/4 is either Chi-Angus or Chi-Maine X Angus so she's your typical club calf composite.  Buy her & flush her to Heatwave!!  Honestly, that might make some really cool steers.  ;)

I've been around some, just not a bunch.  This board aint the same without Red.  Also, I wasn't feeing the best most of the summer & fall.  Still have on & off moments.  I seem to stay really busy too.  I didn't show any of my animals this year.  However, I did watch several others show my genetics & that was fun!  They did pretty good too at Louisville & Denver.  I showed one of them & it won division champion bull calf at Louisville.  Doc Holliday won Get of Sire at Louisville... I was impressed because I had some really good ones here that didn't go.  not sure if I will show any this year or not, but I have several that somebody should show.  Hope that you are doing well!!

She's still available.  However, I have had some serious inquiries, so she may not be available much longer.

Just wanted to post that she is indeed SOLD.  Thanks to Jason & Amy Stein, East Berlin, PA, for agreeing to purchase this heifer, a very nice fullblood heifer & possibly 1 more % Lowline heifer.
