RSC- I think they may like similar cows, but that's the only time you'll probably hear "similar" in the same sentence as TJ and Mr. Kroupa!

I know, it just struck me as funny!  I'd pay money to be a fly on the wall if they were putting a sale catelog together.  Your gonna say WHAT about her Mr. Kroupa? (clapping)

LOL, Sorry TJ I have to chuckle over the statement of you and Kroupa having similar philosophies.  After reading his Sweetheart Catelog every year and reading your responses to the Biblical Timeline,  Similar is not what I was thinking.

No need to be sorry.   ;D   I realize that I probably should have been more clear that I was talking about the similar cow size philosophies & I left myself wide open on that one.    (lol)    (clapping)

I come from Oklahoma where they have used 51 to 52 inch steers for champion for many years... Most of the steers have weighed from 1275 to 1295 lbs... Nowadays, steers in OKC are anywhere from 51 1/2 to 53 inches and weigh 1295 to 1350 with some of the heavier ones being drawn back some.  Now all this being said,I tend to like steers around 52 inches that weigh 1300 to 1325.

I just checked the NDSU 3 year study on the Lowline 1/2 blood steers... they were around 51-52 inches tall & a 1221 lb. average for the 3 years.  They were all out of commercial heifers.  IDK how big those heifers were or how big those Lowline bulls were, but those are decent sized finished steers.

Call me a skeptic, from what I have seen from Kroupa, he and TJ have very little in common, TJ doesn't like a puller.
