The first picture is a Chi-angus cow, she is out of JAP Ultra and he registration # is 300602 for anyone that wants to see how she is bred. I would like to shoot for a steer but if its a heifer would like to be able to keep for a replacement (She is the Dam of the calf in SKF's Avatar)

The second picture is a Durham Red heifer. She is a Above and Beyond X Wildside and is currently bred to JPJ. Her Registration # is *xAR46810 Would like to go the shorthorn route with her again. Her picture isn't the best but its all that I have at this time.

The third picture is of a registered Limousin Cow. I do not remember how she is bred and I dont have the papers with me right now. I would like to get a pure bred but would be open to some clubby suggestions.

The forth pictures is of a Lim-flex heifer. She is out of the cow above and a Underwood Angus bull. She needs more thickness and bone. She is smaller framed though and only being her second calf I dont want to bred her to anything to risky.

Thanks in advance for any advice,
Wesley

I really like that top cow. I think Monopoly or Dr. Who would be neat on her. On the shorthorn, Im not big in that area but maybe Ace of Diamonds or Xray Vision. jmo

O, I forgot the whole intentions of my post... guess that's what happens when sitting in on class from 10-6 today like I do on Thursday's...

Anyways, love the black cow- Think you could go alot of directions with that one.  She looks to be moderate, not huge-  I'd be interested in seeing some Captain morgan outa that cow... that could be in kroupas words- one whale assed, cannon bonned one...  His hair was decent, and he wasn't perfect on the move.. but he was a poweful beast... would give you some color too.. I'd say its obvious his mother produces, since she just made a denver display bull for the 2nd year.  Other than that, I don't really know enough about up-sizing black clubby bulls to use..

now, to the bread and butter.. I like that Red heifer- moderate and chunky-- i'd try Ace of Diamonds on her like Chris mentioned above...  She's got plenty of depth, and could really click with that bull...  Another bull that'd be worth a shot looking into for steers would be any of a slew of Visions...  From my experiences, they have alot more grow that ole DStuff...

I think Sunseeker could be interesting on either cow too!!

I can't really suggest my favorite bulls in my breed to you-- you already have them!!!

take care, be interested to see what, and how you do it..

I like the WMW too on the old cow

Chi-Angus for a good steer or maternal heifer if she has one:  About Time,  WMW, or Dirty Harry.  I think About Time would really clean-up the front .

Good Luck!

Do'nt know anything about Limmi's.

Your first cow

WMW
All About You

Your durham, well she is super nice like her
Clubby you can't beat Double Vision for steers. He is one of the better shorthorn steer sires. Females- Gizmo and we are going to take a stab at Major Leroy.  You gal has the right bloodlines it sounds like to perform. Ivy League could be interesting- will be great to see how his calves come out.

HERE ARE A FEW PICTURES FOR YOU... Like I said, your red heifer looks almost ID to mine...  I attached two pictures, one like yours, and a good one...

the 2nd two pictures are a FiveStar coming 2 y.o...  that goes back to a Limi cow..  We think she's pretty darn neet, and woulda showed quite well.. no she's not the most powerful cow in the world, but I think she'd a held her own...

Now, with that said, I'm sure not telling you to breed your limi cows to FiveStar... that's just what our heifer looks like... No I didn't breed her either...  I think he just added enough softness, and balance for her to look good...

I don't know the slightest bit about Limi's.. but I have been to MAGS and Ethertons a couple times in last few years...  both programs that know what their doing.  I remember seeing some awefully good bulls at both places, but at the time I either wasn't pay enough attention to their names, or have forgotten them since...

Good luck with you endeavors..
