We are going to have a calf soon and what to know what to look for. This is our first cow and she is a belted Galloway cross bred to a herford bull. Also what are some calving signs? Thanks for your help

Could be a lot of different things.  Most of the time it is related to the position or the size of the calf.  Here is a good website with a lot of different articles.  Look specifically at Calving Time Management.
