I am considering breeding some of my Simmis to some clubby bulls to see what I can get. If I have a cow that needs her neck cleaned up and lenghtened, some more depth and a lower flank, what clubby bull would get the job done? I also have another cow that just needs more all around and a cleaner neck. Of course, they both need some hair! O0

Also, I am curious about some of the Lautner bulls: Thriller, Just One Look, Mind That Bird, Justified, Searsboro and Tebow. I haven't heard too much about them, so any info is appreciated!

And, which Heat Wave clone  (if any) is the best? And is the Monopoly 2 bull as good as Monopoly?

Thanks~ :)

Most clubby bulls will help clean up front ends on simmental cows. Some clubby bulls may not add the depth you are looking for.  I think Jimmy The Greek would be a good choice considering your goals.  Also, Troubador may work if your cows are thick and have some bone. I have used Monopoly and Walks Alone on simmental cows with good results but the cows were deep bodied.  Both bulls do a good job of moderating frame, adding style and good hair.

Thanks! I have heard about both of those bulls. I'm really needing some depth in these cows, what breeds or bulls could I get that from?

TIGER WOODS-then,there are some Shorthorn and Charolais deals that would work (Young Money,Free For All,Exile,Capt Morgan,Uncle Cracker,Chop Wood,Sahara etc)-along with bulls like: Smilin Bob,Long Time Coming,1 in a million,Gucci,Mercedes Benz,Rumor Mill,Big Talker (Canada) Chore Boy, etc etc .As far as frame they will vary, but there are some cool ones out there. Best breed to add body depth is Angus.  I think shorthorn would too but I have never used them.  I like OCC Embazon on Simmental cows but you are getting away from the clubby type bull you originally asked about.

Just know when you are putting Angus on them your going to get neck with that depth, normally you give up one place to get another.

Saw 3 calves one was dead and over 130 lbs.  The other 2 were over 110 lbs.  Not going to play with him again.
