to the show, I bet Ft.Worth helped you get over it in a hurry. We were never in it big enough for politics to get in our way, we got beat by better calves, and when we won we had a better calf. (not to say there weren't any politics, just when you're standing in 4 out of 20 the 1, 2, 3, calves got lined up by politics more than the rest of the calves) we may have placed higher a time or 2 just so they could bury one, but never felt like we got cheated.

Oh you bet! I really wasn't either. Honestly it was the last place I thought I'd ever get beat because of politics lol

with all due respect, I would suggest that some day you will look back at this judge's comments and think they were not quite as bad as you presently think they are. I would suggest there will be days where judges say much worse.... A whole lot worse!!  There will be days when you will see animals you think are not even in the same ball park as your's standing above you in line. I truly hope you are not showing your anger and frustration about the judge to your daughter, For her sake! Like I said, I consider what the judge said to be well within his right to do. He was selected to evaluate the classes and it is also his responsibility to evaluate them on all conformation traits as well as things like breed character. You may have to grow a much thicker skin or you are going to find that you are angry after many shows and quite frankly, that is a horrible way to live. Cattle shows are supposed to be fun for young people and they teach many life lessons, one of which is that sometimes you don't do as well as you expected you would  and sometimes what happens to you is not fair.

68.... I'm not getting this. Every judge is entitled to their opinion. Take their opinion for granted and move on. Don't continue beating a dead horse, trying to get what you want, the damn horse is dead. As an adult you should nice this by now, not everything goes your way. Teach your children this very important lesson in life. Stop stomping your feet, throwing fits. Your kids will thank you later on, it's embarrassing to have such a poor sport for a parent!
