I am babysitting my sons expecting Corgi this weekend as he had to deliver a steer he sold to Louisville, how can you tell when a Corgi gets real close she has been pacing around
alot this weekend and seems not settled, wines some,  how long is the gestation in a Corgi also???  She sure has been a good girl though, we gave her a doggie treat and we still cant
find where she hid it, but boy our cats sure do hate her  haha  - hell kitty finally found his match. (lol)  Dakotas belly almost drags on the ground now.

Well here are some not too good pictures of new 1st time mamma and her 3 pups, cant see the pups very well, 2 are by her head one is under her front leg
so far so good

Is this her first litter?
I use to raise Jack's. Sometimes it can be over in a few hours or will string out over hours. If it is her first time, you have to watch her close.

Gestation period is 62-63 days. Within 24 hours of delivery body temperature will drop below 100 degrees (norm 100-102.9). Just before whelping sometimes milk will drip from nipples or easily produced by gentle pressure.Increasingly restlessness  could indicate time is near. Interval between pups highly variable pending age, how many pups, condition of dam....normal is immediate to 30 min. plus(but not more than 2 hours on first pup). If dam labors hard for over two(2) hours she probably needs help, but if she has four(4) or more pups may indicate she is tired, at times they will rest and then return to business at hand. 50% of deliveries can be breech usually without incident. If first time mother might need help, but usually mother nature takes charge. Good Luck.

guess what guys my mamma intuition was right, I thought she acted funny last night, wouldnt you know Im babysitting and I wake up this morning she has one puppy, so I thought oh good she
is done, I open the bathroom door (thats where we let her sleep at night) and she takes off across the kitchen straight to the living room jumps on the couch spreading blood everywhere from
bathroom, kitchen and livingroom, my husband bout died, so I got her outside, she pottied and then like two minutes later, she had another pup, got that all cleaned up and now she had
another one, so far we have three healthy pups, all seem to have nursed or are trying to nurse- thank goodnes she took them at least, she seems hot and is panting alot, well today is the
son that owns Dakotas birthday, his 21st to boot. so think God had a hand in this for sure. <party>

How many did you end up with?  My Pems go 61 days from the first breeding date.. they just don't vary by much on that.
