were getting ready to take a heifer to a show in a month or so, shes a longer made heifer that at times can look sunken in. I was wondering what product would be best to give her days prior to the show and on show day to achieve a full look in her upper rib. she just looks sunken in at times and she could be deadly if we did away with this problem without tubing her

Water, beet pulp, good hay. Small amounts often throughout the day.

Most of the time that sunken look is due to change, such as travel, feed time variations, water taste, etc. the only way to fix this is to go to more shows or take more rides in the trailer.

On the other hand, you may just need to alter your ration with more Cotonseed hulls.
