Thanks, I appreciate your comments. We never feed our cowherd grain, unless they find it themselves in the cornfield under 2 ft of snow. The calf is out of one of our Galloway herd bulls HB Shakedown. The heifer is 1/2 Galloway 1/2 Angus.OH Breeder said:Think she is headed in the right direction for a cow. Pretty udder and looks like she is feeding her baby they way they should as others have said. I think it is always tough on heifers first year they are feeding calves. What is her month old calf out of ?
