I think the Australian Shorthorn breeding programs are extremely interesting with their collection of data and focus on selling bulls to the commercial market. Here is a link to Futurity's website for the sale being held today(well tomorrow in Australia ??? )

It would be good to know them as a comparison from in one program but it would be very difficult  to compare them with other animals which are raised in other environments (countries). I have seen very popular North american breeders have bulls that are over 100lbs BW (45.35kg) and yearling weights under 900lbs (408.23kg) or the same birth weights with yearling weights over 1200lbs (544.31kg).  One would think that part of this is due to the environmental differences EPDS should help with this. If one was interested I am sure a lot of the studs in Aus would provide actual weights.
