help! Red Cell and Heifers??

Has any one ever fed red cell to there heifers? We feed it to our steers, they love it and it always seems to help them out a lot. I was just wondering if it is safe to feed to heifers as well? thank you!! <cowboy>

Red will stimulate their appetitie. Being an iron supplement that is primarily for horses if that's what you are referring too. It will make them hungry better appetite.

Never had any luck getting the steers to eat it but our heifers seem to love it. It does make them eat like baby dinosaurs so you have to be careful not to give them too much. We also feed it to hogs and broilers. Same company makes rooster cell, same thing, smaller bottle, more expensive so we just use red cell. We think it's worth feed, our kids did well in majors, jackpots and at county.
