e music on and jam out while I clean my steer! you know you are doing good when your steer is cleaner than you are! haha! I have had steers with barely any hair and steers with lots of hair so let me know what you got! what breed do you have? how much are you feeding per day? would you mind showing me a pic? I hop you have a great time doing 4h! don't get discouraged by your first year. we did several jackpots during the year on my first year and I won NOTHING. but at the end of the year, my steer sold for $500 less than the grand champion! and I didn't even win! Thanks for the tips! I actually do use a speaker when I’m in the barn! He’s an angus. I’m feeding 4oz Powerfuel, 1 Ibs PreCon, 8 Ibs Rival Beast, per feeding + free choice hay. Last meeting he was 860 Ibs! So I think he’ll be a good weight by fair time. I’m going to be taking some pics here soon! So I’ll post some when I take them! Thank you again!

Good! if your cow is a bit spooky, you can play music while you are gone to get him used to the noise. is he hairy or not? What breed is he?
