Congrats to Nebraska on the win, so what caliber do you think it was that KSU was using to shoot it's self in the foot?  Oh and Suh is the best defensive player in the nation PERIOD!!!

Just having fun!  Great game by both teams!  It is unreal how BS can turn that team around so quick this year!  IMO, your AD made a mistake and should have scheduled a bottom Div 1 team! KSU could win a bowl game!

No way you get us next year, we've got a whole year for the Sker's to fine tune the offense and the Pelinis will handle the D.

Yea, but remember what Bill Snyder just did with the hundred and something ranked recruting class this year, none of his own guys, and about half the talent that the rest of the big 12 north had.

Aren't they already in the Big XII North?  Wouldn't scheduling a bottom div 1 team in addition to that conference scheduled be a bit redundant?

Half the talent of the rest of the Big XII North?  The 05-07 classes are much more important to current success than 09 and K-State was recruiting just fine back then.  In fact, they were consistently the 2nd best recruiting school in the North during that time period.

I would guess the thought is they wouldn't win if it was a tougher team.   I know we can all say would a should a could a , but Nebraska is 2 plays away from being a 1 loss team.  a blown coverage at the end of the va tech game, and a niles paul one less fumble so that we only turn it over seven times in the iowa state game.  Even as pathetic as the offense is.   Crazy..  Saying that i expect an ugly game against texas...

When you're a solid defensive team with an atrocious offense, you're always going to be a few plays away.  That's just the nature of running that kind of scheme.

Great win.

Do have to give props though; KSU was much better than expected.  Their big back is a stud....Arguably the best we faced all year.  Banks is sooooo small.  Saw him up close and told the guy next to me that he's not much bigger than my 6 year old son, and built like my 5 year old daughter....but he's got game....he can play with the big boys.  Coach Snyder has them coached up.

Have to like our matchups defensively against UT.  I certainly expect a slugfest.  If the offense can play an above average game for them, this could be a surprise game.

Sure is gonna be different without 93 achoring the middle after this year.

Farwest....that was cruel (in a cool way)!

You say that, but K-State was only a few big plays away from Nebraska not even getting a chance to play for the Big 12 North.  You have a great D I think that you will supprise some of the UT fans with just how good your D line is.  But for KSU to come into Lincoln and really come close to beating you you have to give them respect.  Oh a fumble one the 1 yard line, and give us the two field goals there would be alot of un happy huskers right now.  With that said GO BIG RED!!!  I hope that you can sneek up on them horns and show everyone that the big 12 North isn't as bad as everyone thinks.

Question for you, Will Bill leave your program in good hands this time?  I really hope K-State can stay respectable for years and make it a RESPECTED battle for the  North every year!  Snyder has been well known for developing assistants that went on to do great things, yet the program went on a whim and hired an unknown disaster in Prince!

Don't know anything about the ast. coaches he has now!  Does he have the mindset of developing someone to take the program over?  With the disasters of Kansas and CU, that leaves ISU, KSU and Nebraska to keep the North respectable!  Who on the staff looks to be HC material?  Will Bill stay for a few years?  I heard rumors that it may not be much more than this year!  Will your AD name a HC in waiting like Texas has done?

The one incident win the KSU-NU game where polognini yelled at the quarterback when they didn't convert the first down. I didn't understand it. The qb wasn't benched. He didn't throw an interception. T|he cameras caught it cause they know the coach is a hot head. When the woman asked him about the incicdent he mumbled something abot dropping coverage. and we will be alright. Looked like to me he just lost it. I was kinda embarrassed for him. It just seems like he is always one punch away from from being arrested. I know that football is a violent game and there are things said and done in locker rooms that could be illegal on main street. I realize there are fights in practice even at a high school level. I just cringe when he loses it. It is kinda intertaining I guess but can bo recruit? Parents see his out bursts on national tv. I think the ad AD and coach relationship with Osbourne is interesting. You just hope someone doesn't get assulted and bo gets in trouble like the Mangino accussations. I thought |Suh was back for one more year. I assume the sucicide rate in Nebraska will level off with them winning the North. It is a intesting mix.

Didn't seem to hurt Bobby Knight.  Some parents actually want their kids to learn a little discipline.

Go Huskers!  Can't wait to see you play in Jerry-world!
