probably 12 or 14 since you are posting it, but they don't look like 1019 (ohlde cow) teats.

Give me another hint.... what's her tattoo?   Haha  I'm guessing she is 12.
Jaimie went to special measures to make sure the ear tag wasn't readable in the photo she posted! You probably already know which cow it is.

I am going to spill the beans on who the cow is.  Diamond Julie Baroness 8J is a 3/4 sister to Diamond Prophecy 21P's dam.

Pictured is her year of birth and offspring, followed by pictures of her S,T, U and W calves which I have on my work computer, followed by her this years Miami Baron 20B son 88lb BW pictured only a few hours old (not a great picture)

Modified to show the poll results before I spilled the beans :)

Not only did I guess her aqe right but I guessed her identity correctly.( Jaimie helped by posting the picture of her with her new calf). Surely, I must have won something!  Do I get to pick a heifer out of your heifer pasture? Please let me know as I am hoping to be heading out your way in a few days delivering bulls and picking up Leroy from stud, and some donors from the Et cneter

JIT The prize *drum rolls* One trip to a coffee establishment of your choice after visiting the Diamond herd!

X year Julie dropped to April due to our calving season change (seemed like a good at the time... :-\ snow seems to land whenever we calve) This year she calved 1 month 5 days after her last calf as she was flushed :)

Today is a very happy day Diamond Julie Baroness 8J is going to be around next year as a 16 year old. She is officially in calf to Northern Alphonso. There is nothing better than getting to keep your 4H heifer another year. Pictured with her 203 day Herbourne B Manitoba Gus 13Z bull calf who weighed at 575 lbs at 175 days. She is also pictured as an 8 year old, her last outting and as a  9 year old with another of her bull calves. Picture of her 2 year old daughter by Diamond Prophecy 21P with her Eionmor Piper 23Z calf. I have an ET roan heifer calf by Mandalong Super Flag out of 8J as well.

It's good to keep all the daughters we can from cows like that.  Sometimes it's also good to keep a son of their's, too.  I've got a 13 year old Augusta cow that just weaned what I think is my best 2014 born bull calf.  He's going to stay here a while.  Unfortunately I've only got 2 daughters in the herd.  I used another son of her's a little bit and have 10 outstanding daughters of him.  The old girl will calve next spring to Zulu.  Good luck prying that calf away from me if it's a heifer.
