At least we are having this conversation.  I think it is a healthy one to have.  BigTex is worried about illegal immigration as we live in Texas.  I too am worried about it.  What everyone needs to understand it is all by design by the global elite.  The true Americans, you and me, are left out and lied to about this subject daily.

The fact is ALL ILLEGALS NEED TO BE DEPORTED.  They can come back in if they go thru our legal immigration paths. 

Our borders are being torn down.  Getting cheap labor is no excuse or reason to lose our national Sovereignty.  We have real unemployment of 22% today if you consider all of those out of work, looking for jobs, or simply have given up looking.  Not 10%. 

Greece and Iceland have imploded.  We have more debt on the books than all of western europe combined.

The only reason we have any of this is due to the Fiat Currency of the Private Federal Reserve.  Understand that we are not on any gold standard.  The paper in your wallet is just paper.

not off topic.  the topic is doing something to solve problems rather than make them worse which is what you are an expert at and refuse to accept the facts that the left is responsible for any of the current economic crisis caused by barney frank and illegal aliens.  i'm sorry if you are too slow to understand that the bailout and housing bubble is caused in part by illegal immigration and their subsidy by barney frank.  if you weren't so obsessed with barney frank, you would use a term other than teabagger.  you always use names and stereotypes for people who disagree with you and never address any facts and can't stand diversity when it's staring you in the face.

My thoughts on illegal immigration is yes the borders need to be closed better than they are now, if you are here illegally you need to go back and your kids who were born here also.  If you want to be here do it the legal way.

Another part of general reform this country needs to make and that will influence immigration is to stop giving so many hand outs.  The federal and state governments need to get on the same page, when people apply for welfare what they say needs to be checked against their Tax return (if they have one) , and against other services they already receive, there needs to be a cap on how much hand outs one can receive.  When someone gets, welfare, housing, food stamps, child care, school lunches and health care all they are left to pay for is a car.
