Iowa State Fair==Looking forward to seeing SP friends!!

I'll be spending a lot of time at the Iowa State Fair in the next 10 days or so.  I'm looking forward to seeing many of my friends from SP.

We'll be there again, I think for the 45th year in a row, hard to keep track.  Two head, which about all an old guy can stand.  Stop by for a Coke!

We're showing in the Mainetainer and Feeder Calf shows on Saturday,  then working the 4-H shows Sunday thru Wed.    I'll be back in time for the Shorthorn show the following weekend but we decided to leave the calves home for that one.    Too many days if you bring cattle for both weekends.  I  have to leave on a business trip the following Monday and my youngest daughter will be starting at ISU that day, so we decided to do our showing early rather than later during the fair.

I may take you up on that Coke!!  I'll probably be needing a break by then!!

Please look me up on Thursday the 18th later in the PM (around 3) setting up the ISA display booth in aisles T U and V-- I believe those are the Shorthorn aisles-- anyway we are in the very south aisles of the cattle barn.
No stock this year either-- not enough time to get anything going and most of my calves were later this spring and it would push me and them to get something going this year.
