Another question about clippers.  Has anyone used the Laube clippers and how did you like them?  Where is the best place to purchase them from (who carries them)?  Are the blades interchangeable with the andis, oster, wahl size of clippers?  I was in the vicinity of a conversation the other day and a lady was talking about them.  Pretty sure she was a hairdresser, but she was really big on them.

We have some Laube Speed clippers that we use for clipping our show horses.  They are quiet and light weight but I doubt they would stand up to any serious clipping.

The ones we have are good .They are the only clipper I'll buy unless I happen to get caught without. They will run allot faster so you are not
out running the blades or pushing the hair. Can not stand the slow ones.

Laube clippers are some of the strongest, fastest and quietest clippers you will ever own.  They interchange with any A5 blade and are worth every penny.  Even the little 9 ounce ones.  I used to groom dogs and would run them for 8 hours a day and they rarely quit on me and never got hot in my hand.  I would go through 5 pair of Andis for every one pair of Laubes.

You don't know hard on clippers until you go throug a spring in a country grooming shop peeling big dogs wth undercoats that are one solid mat.  And the best of all when you finally have abused them too much and wore them out you can send them to Laube and they will completely rebuild them for less than $100, and they are still better than a brand new pair of any other brand.

I have smoked the Andi's that were not very old . The micro minis are a bit heavy but go with the lightnings.

Where would I need to go to look at prices and clipper models available.  Thank you all for the info.  Quite helpful.  If there is a place that sells them cheaper than others I would like to hear that as well.  Thanks in advance.

I also was looking at getting a set of these.  Has anyone used the Laube cowboy?  What do you think of them, How do the batteries hold up?

We have a set of the cowboys.  They are super around the chute at show time because you don't have to worry about cords.  About a two hour battery life fully charged.  Wouldn't use the battery on a daily basis.
