I still dont see how a bull that is a GUTLESS wonder HIMSELF is going to produce hiefers with any maternal value ie capacity let alone make feed efficient cattle when he appears that the only reason hes fat is that someone had to break the bank to feed him and people wonder why clubby cows dont milk who are we kidding now
At some point people have to get back to evaluating cattle from the ground up.  Structure, body and quality.  Far to many people buy semen off of pictures and don't know what a functional bull looks like.  Butts, Gutts and nutts is what I look for in bulls.  You are correct that these hound gutted bulls will not produce a quality female unless bred speficically to a ground sow.  As always to each their own! <beer>

My analysis of the bulls
3 of the 15 have semen available( i know still maybe a little early to aska  yearling to produce)
1 of 15 has th-pha listed
Missisippi Stud toes out as bad or worse than his sire
Indian Outlaw sired by same bull as carpe diem (tank is sired by heat seeker)
Texas Twister looks the smallest of the group
Gonna pick maxim as my favorite but i think i'll use optimus prime or bpf detonater before the rest of the new bulls

Heard that Total Solution son, I think it's Jesse James, was the dinkiest one in a dinky set in Denver. I believe what the guy told me was "there isn't a cow in the world that one will ever breed natural" ... I haven't seen them in person

I recently revisited this conversation with someone who was in Denver and he said that Jesse James was not in Denver, so I am SURE that I was mistaken as I recalled hearing he was too small. Open mouth, insert foot
