Waukaru's bull, KL Prime Time Teddy is available from a stud or two. He is proven calving ease, and we are using him on most first-calf heifers. Teddy calves are eye-appealing enough that our local 4-H champion Shorthorn heifer in 2018 was a Teddy that beat a couple of other good heifers, one of which was by Hot Commodity. Teddy is growthy enough and sires sufficient style to breed him to a top cow.
We also used KL Double Duty 6294, and I do not recall pulling any calves out of him when we used him on all our first-calf heifers--one of our best is a 6294 daughter. Loving Shorthorns likely still have some Double Duty semen. Another proven bull we use on first-calf heifers is JSF Gauge from Select Sires.
