Freddy.....this REALLY surprises me. I have told people to watch the growth on the calves, and NOT to use him on too big of a cow. I'm not doubting or questioning you one bit, but was the ones that didn't get big enough bred similar, or random dams?
Birth weight on the My Turns is generally NO problem at all and ALL mine have been unassisted. However, if there is some birth weight history on the dam side, I have heard of a bigger one, but definitely NOT big numbers as a norm.
The one thing that My Turn does that most don't is STAMP that LOOK in every calf. It still amazes me at his consistency in doing that. He's not perfect by no means, but he does have his place.
The cow pictured above is precisely the kind I like to use him on. Smaller, soft made cows with plenty of flex and body.
