Hey! I showed cattle for several years in 4-H. I now own a small herd of commercial Sim/simAngus cows with my dad. We bought a bull in spring 2017 as a calf (Blaze of Glory x Hannibal) and bred all our cows to him. They are starting to hit the ground and I'm wanting to sell them to try and pay back some student loans (vet school isn't cheap). I've gotten interest on a pair born early February heifers that are just now big enough for me to start posting pics online. I'm not really sure how much they are worth. I don't want to over price, but don't want to under price either. I'm hoping to take the darker red heifer to a feeder calf show late July and if she does well be able to market off that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Even though there are several DVMs that are successful selling show cattle, I would skip that for now.  If you want to get a good side hustle going.  Start a mobile AI service and heat sync program. Or start putting in some embryos on the farm for people.  It looks like you will get your DVM in 2021 and time doing this will be way more profitable than trying to sell clubbies.

If you want to list them, Steer Planet has a great site or you can try a new one: http://www.championxchange.com/

Good Luck and study hard.

Another side hustle: semen testing bulls. (if you already have the microscope)
