Well I've been out of the game for awhile and just got back from my second show clipping and fitting a little steer calve. I used to be big into it but moved to college and didn't have near the time to clip as much as I used to. If you could let me know how im coming along thanks.

That looks good. I would just clip a little more off above the hock all around to give more shape to the lower quarter. That will also make the bottom of the leg look bigger. Just take a little more off and then leave all the hair to give that bulging heavy muscled look.

agreed on clipping off above the pastern. you really want to clean up the joints so they look sounder. it looks like the hocks might need to be trimmed up a little more but that is just looking from this angle. making the hocks smaller should also make the calf appear to be more explosive in his rear quarter.

I agree with others.  I actually kinda think the before looks better than the after.  Take a pic from behind as well too next time.  That tells a lot as well!
Good job though.  No, you havent lost your touch! (clapping)

Looks good i agree with the other people as well on where to knock off some of the other hair. What i do is go to some big time shows and watch the people clip and fit the calves
