This is my "newest" favorite cow right now. I hope she turns into my all time favorite.

does some one else own this cow too ?

She is owned by myself, which is  Mike Davis - Woodrange Farms, the Tim Brandenburg family - Windy Lane Shorthorns & Scott Harden - Circle H Shorthorns. So the 3 of us.

Here are a few of my favorites from the past.
The solid white one is a Prime Time dtr of Green Ridge Robin R180. She flushed good. Fact is I still have eggs in the tank by Tribune, Cujo & WI Western Impact.
The 2nd one is a Greg dtr that is a Rosanna that is the dam of CT Vintage that Schrags' had such good luck with.
The last is a Hazel Leap dtr out of the original Miss Springfield.

Not a very big cow, not a show cow, not a purebred. But she always calves end of feb, beginning march within a 2 week range. She always has a nice calf no matter what she is bred to. This is her 5th calf, and a heifer so we'll probably keep it as a replacement. She is always in good condition even if she were eating straw she would still be in good shape. She has a good udder that should last for a long time and she is a quiet cow with a gentle disposition. The calf at her side is a out of a shorthorn. She is a red angus out of a charlois cross.

Attached a picture of my second favorite cow 8102.  My favorite cow is 0526 an old Prime Cut daughter that has never missed for us.  Sorry not pictures of her.

The pictured cow is 8102 a Perfect Wind X SCR Frenchy cow.  Her grand dam is an ET Mate of the 0526 cow.  This cow is ideal for us in Missouri not excessive in frame, easy fleshing and a beautiful udder.  First picture is with her first calf just prior to weaning and the second picture is of 8102 with that same calf a month old in the pasture.

There are some real nice cows on this thread would love to have some of em.  Here is my favorite, she is one of the first cows I bought and she is 7 now and I have kept 3 out of her 5 calves. 2 heifers for replacement and a Carnac calf that is one of my herd bulls. She milks great and is gentle along with all the calves I have kept out of her.

Here are a few of our favorite non black Galloways.

These cows are all 2004 model cows,  They calve within a week of each other every year.  They have all had either herd bulls or replacement females every year.  The dun cow has only had one heifer (finally) this last year.  I wish I had a hundred of any of the 3.

KD Marie is a PB angus by Fullback I once owned. Every female I now own traces back to her.

Breed that second one to a nice fronted Shorthorn bull and that would be very interesting! Nice cows!

Not a cow I own (wish I did) but one awesome Who Made Who x Meyer cow bred to Monopoly. Cow has a awesome disposition and throws really nice calves. her calf last year was a Paddy calf that stood 3rd as a market heifer at the Michigan winter beef show (should have shown as a maine). really a nice cow.
