Red Angus herd sires at RW's

Thought I would post some pictures of my three main herd sires.
  The first picture is Red Brylor Walkerton10W - Lead off and high selling nonsyndicated bull in the 2010 Brylor bull sale. He is a Red Fine Line Mulberry 26P son out of a Glacier Logan 210 donor dam.
  The second is NBAR Negotiator L21 - 2003 National Intermediate champion bull and maternal brother to NBAR Hamely.
  The third is RRA Mulberry 26P 922 - Lead off bull in the 2010 Rich/Finch bull sale and Denver class winner. Sired by Milberry 26P and out of a UBAR Grand Prix donor dam.
  Thought I would throw a little RED blood on the SP page. RW

Sure like the power and mass of the first bull.  He is a real beef bull. ( thats what we are trying to produce here, isn't it?)

The other bulls have a great look and thickness and sure appear to be made super sound.  I would expect no less from your program!

RW, Good looking set of bulls!! Really like that top bull. I may get in trouble for saying this but the RA cattle down in this part of the world look nothing like him. If there is some I've yet to see them. JMO.

Really like the Brylor bull, they sure know how to raise some good ones.  Our best bull is a Mulberry out of a Big Sky daughter, love the Mulberry calves.  We bred a couple of our better cows to Cowboy Cut this year so I'm really looking forward to seeing what his calves look like next year.

RW I will be very interested in using semen from 10W if he keeps his BW low. Is it your hope to use him on heifers?

Petejc72 - I think it will be very interesting to see how the Lazy MC Smash sons & grandsons do on Mulberry daughters. I've got a couple brewing myself.

I have Walkerton turned out with heifers right now as a matter of fact. I think this bull has a train load of potential in the Red Angus breed, I am litterally banking on it!
I have had three donors out at cowboys to flush. So far I have about 36 (off the top of my water soaked head) embryos in the tank. The first round we flushed everything to Mulberry, the next round we will be flushing some to the Walkerton bull. RW

Doc - I've seen the same thing in my travels acrossed the country. Part of it is enviromental I'm guessing but alot is genetics. From my experience working sales down there alot of pedigrees are pretty tightly calving ease bred and alot of "bull bred" cattle. I think bulls like Mulberry and Walkerton will do those folks alot of good down there and put some beef back in their cattle. RW

RW - I went back and looked at the sale catalog and I think you got the steel of the day (doesn't matter what you paid). I think this bull can go where most Mulberry sons can't. Though I do have some experience with Huckleberry on heifers. I think Walkerton would throw a different type. I bet he would make a great choice for the Shorthorn crowd to use on heifers. Congrats on a future great bull.

Will do. The interest has been phenominal in the bull from Canada tyhrough the US and into Mexico. We have been approached about selling limited exclusive semen packages on him and honestly haven't decided if we will do that or put him on the open market. We have a limited amount of semen on him now but I may have to pull him out of the pasture and take him back to the stud if we put him on the ipen market. Thanks for the comments and interest. RW

I think the bull has alot to offer to the beef industry as a whole, who knows there may be a daughter of his show up in a club calf sire some day RW
