Registration Questions

1. Ok so we bought 5 clubby cows this spring and I have asked them to get me background info on them so I can register what I can. Well they will not get back to me so is there anyway I can still get these cows registered? All I know is there sires.

2. Have commercial angus herd. Anyway I could ever register any of these calves?

i went thru the nightmare of registering a guy's maine cow so i could register her maine bull calf, which was a bull i leased to use on my cows...the cow was like 6 years old and the bull was 2 years old...got her a set of papers, then the bull, then was able to register my calves maintainer (they were already shorty pluses from my cows)....it was a pretty expensive deal...just to have double registered calves (shorthorn plus and maintainer)...live and learn

if they are commercial angus, id say no, you cant get them registered...

Ok still sort of confused on clubby ?. Let me give an example on one of the cows, she is out of BK Power Plus, has perfect maine color. Without knowing any info on Dam could I register her maine or maintainer?

Also here is a red brockle cow that who's sire is PB simm. (arapahoe). Could I register her any % simm?

yes, i believe you should be able to register her maintainer, bk pp is a purebred,cattle visions lists him as 87.5% maine,  so your cow would be around 43.75% which would get you maintainer papers...for the dam information on the papers just put commercial ...you may have to pay for an ai certificate for bkpp before she can be registered, not sure, but cattle visions is pretty quick about sending those to the association.
